Alpine A521 (2021)
The A521 was Alpine’s car for the 2021 Formula One World Championship, powered by the Renault E-Tech 20B (1.6-litre V6 turbo hybrid) engine on Pirelli tyres.
It was driven by Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon. Alpine started 22 of the season’s 22 races, with one win and two podium finishes.
The season brought Alpine’s first World Championship win, at the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix with Esteban Ocon.
Alpine finished 5th in the Constructors’ Championship with 155 points, and Fernando Alonso was its highest-placed driver, 10th in the Drivers’ Championship.
It was Alpine’s first World Championship season.
