McLaren MP4/12 (1997)
The MP4/12 was McLaren’s car for the 1997 Formula One World Championship, powered by the Mercedes FO 110E (3.0-litre V10) and Mercedes FO 110F (3.0-litre V10) engines on Goodyear tyres.
It was driven by David Coulthard and Mika Häkkinen. McLaren started 17 of the season’s 17 races, with three wins, seven podium finishes and one pole position.
McLaren finished 4th in the Constructors’ Championship with 63 points, and David Coulthard was its highest-placed driver, 3rd in the Drivers’ Championship.
