McLaren MP4/13 (1998)
Adrian Newey's first McLaren adapted quickly to the narrow-track, grooved-tyre rules introduced for 1998. The team began the year with a one-two in Melbourne and set the pace for much of the season.
Mika Häkkinen fought off Michael Schumacher through the second half of the year and sealed the title in Japan.

It was driven by Mika Häkkinen and David Coulthard. McLaren started 16 of the season’s 16 races, with nine wins, 20 podium finishes and twelve pole positions.
McLaren won the Constructors’ Championship with 156 points, and Mika Häkkinen won the Drivers’ Championship.
