It was driven by Mika Häkkinen and David Coulthard. McLaren started 17 of the season’s 17 races, with seven wins, 22 podium finishes and seven pole positions.
McLaren finished 2nd in the Constructors’ Championship with 152 points, and Mika Häkkinen was its highest-placed driver, 2nd in the Drivers’ Championship.
