The MP4-21 was McLaren’s car for the 2006 Formula One World Championship, powered by the Mercedes FO 108S (2.4-litre V8) engine on Michelin tyres.
It was driven by Kimi Räikkönen, Juan Pablo Montoya and Pedro de la Rosa. McLaren started 18 of the season’s 18 races, with nine podium finishes and three pole positions.
McLaren finished 3rd in the Constructors’ Championship with 110 points, and Kimi Räikkönen was its highest-placed driver, 5th in the Drivers’ Championship.
