The MP4-26 was McLaren’s car for the 2011 Formula One World Championship, powered by the Mercedes FO 108Y (2.4-litre V8) engine on Pirelli tyres.
It was driven by Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton. McLaren started 19 of the season’s 19 races, with six wins, 18 podium finishes and one pole position.
McLaren finished 2nd in the Constructors’ Championship with 497 points, and Jenson Button was its highest-placed driver, 2nd in the Drivers’ Championship.
