Williams FW14B (1992)
Computer-controlled active suspension, traction control and a semi-automatic gearbox made the FW14B the most sophisticated car on the grid. Nigel Mansell won the first five races of the season.
He clinched the championship in Hungary in August, at the time the earliest title win in the sport's history.
Season in numbers
The FW14B was Williams’s car for the 1992 Formula One World Championship, powered by the Renault RS3C (3.5-litre V10) and Renault RS4 (3.5-litre V10) engines on Goodyear tyres.
